Meet the Team
Abbie Benfield
Abbie is a Midwest native who loves to take advantage of the sandy beaches of Southwest Michigan in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. She is a Hoosier who resides in Indiana with her husband and two children. She works as an education consultant to help develop and support leadership, wellbeing, conflict resolution, and team building. Community partnership and developing a bridge between health, education, and other business sectors is also a central focus of her work.
Abbie has a background in educational leadership, teaching, facilitation, and holds multiple certifications in restorative practices and trauma and resilience coaching. She is also the co-founder of THREADINGwith.
Tiago Baltazar
Tiago lives in the beautiful—though sometimes frozen—Southwest Michigan with his wife and two children. He works as an educational consultant in the region, designing professional learning programs that emphasize belonging and well-being while leading initiatives to drive systemic change. Tiago enjoys working with leaders who are willing to move beyond traditional approaches to create innovative and integrated systems of improvement.
Tiago has also shared his expertise on these topics at various state and national conferences. With a background in psychology, education, theology, and design, he is also the co-founder of THREADINGwith.
